APPLEBY ARROWS 1-1
Colors: Pale Bule and Silver
Robes: Plain- Pale Blue with a silver arrow
History
The Appleby Arrows were founded in 1612 in northern England. The teams fans were best known for firing arrows into the sky from their wands when ever the team scored. The Ministry of Magic stopped this act in 1894. Their most golorious game to date was in 1932 when they won the championship against the Vratsa Vultures (No longer in existance). There is a strong rivalry between the Wasps and the Arrows.


BALLYCASTLE BATS 2-0
Colors: Black and Red
Robes: Plain- Black with a red bat
History
The Ballycastle Bats are considered one of the best teams in Quidditch history. Since being founded they have won 27 championships. Their mascot is Barny who is famous for Butterbeer ads.


CAERPHILLY CATAPULTS 0-2
Colors: Light Green and Red
Robes: Striped- Red and Light Green alternating
History
The Caerphilly Catapults were founded in 1402 in Wales. The teams has won a total of 18 championships in it's history. The Catapults most famous player was Dai Llewellyn. He was considered the riskiest player ever. When he died the Dangerous Dai Commemorative Medal was named after him. It is given to the most risk taking player in a game


CHUDLEY CANNONS 1-1
Colors: Orange and Black
Robes: Plain- Orange with two black C's and a cannon ball
History
The Chudley Cannons have been called one of the most struggling teams in Quidditch history. Though they have won 21 championships, they have recently struggled. The last championship they won was in 1892, 108 years ago.


FALMOUTH FALCONS 1-1
Colors: Dark Grey and White
Robes: Plain- Dark Grey with a white falcon head
History
The Falcons are not well known for anything except their famous legend beaters, Karl and Kevin Broadmoor. These two beaters played dirty and were suspended more than any other players ever in Quidditch history. The Falcons usually finish about 14-14 in the standings.


HOLYHEAD HARPIES 0-2
Colors: Dark Green and Gold
Robes: Plain- Dark Green with and gold talon
History
The Harpies are one of the oldest teams in Quidditch history. They were founded in 1203 in Wales. The teams most spectacular championship game was in 1953 on their 750th anniversary season. They played a seven day match ending with a spectacular catching of the Snitch.


KENMARE KESTRELS 1-1
Colors: Green and Yellow
Robes: Plain- Green with two yellow K's
History
This is another one of the oldest teams. It was founded in 1291 and celebrated it's 800th anniversay nine years ago. Their former keeper, Darren O' Hare, created the Hawkshead Attacking Formation for his teams chasers. It is still used today.


MONTROSE MAGPIES 2-0
Colors: Black and White
Robes: Plain- Black with a white magpie on front and back
History
This team has been known as the most succesful team in history. They have won the championship 33 times, including last year, and won the European championship twice. The team has had hundreds of players that have lead this team to glory year after year. They are being looked at as the team to beat in 2001.


PRIDE OF POTREE 1-1
Colors: Purple and Gold
Robes: Plain- Purple with a gold star
History
The Pride have not had much fame or success of the years they have been around. The 1960's were when the team flourished, winning two league championships. One of their best players was a chaser named Catriona McCormack. She made the Scottish International team 36 times.


PUDDLEMERE UNITED 1-1
Colors: Blue and Gold
Robes: Plain- Blue with two crossed bulrushes
History
This is the oldest team in the history of the NQL. It was founded in 1163 and has won the championship 22 times. They also have 2 European championships. Their theme is, "Beat those Bludgers back and throe that Quaffle here!"


TUTSHILL TORNADOS 1-1
Colors: Light and Dark Blue
Robes: Plain- Light Blue with two dark blue T's
History
In the early 1900's the Tornados won 5 championships in a row, setting the record for most championship wins in a row. Their seeker at the time was Roderick Plumpton who play for the English International team 22 times and hold the record for the fastest capture of the Snitch, which is 3.5 seconds.


WIGTOWN WANDERERS 0-1
Colors: Red and Silver
Robes: Plain- Red with a silver meat cleaver
History
Thsi team was founded in 1422 by Walter Parkin, a butcher. The team never lost when it was originally started due to the intimidation. They threatend to beat a team with meat cleavers if they lost. Decendents of Walter Parkin can sometimes be found on the team.


WIMBOURNE WASPS 1-0
Colors: Black and Yellow
Robes: Striped- Yellow and Black with a wasp
History
The team has won 18 championships and has made it to many semifinals for the European championship. The team got it's name during a match in which the teams beater hit a wasp nest at the Appleby Arrows' seeker. This has caused a huge rivalry between the two teams. They crowd often likes to buzz loudly to distract the other team.
